Job Description:
- The Jira & Confluence Administrator will be responsible for architecting, configuring, and optimizing Jira and Confluence environments to support SAP program needs.
- This role will focus on governance, reporting, SAP project management support, and data quality improvements, while ensuring alignment with enterprise delivery methodologies.
- Design, configure, and optimize Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, permissions, and schemes.
- Architect Confluence spaces, templates, and page structures for streamlined documentation and collaboration.
- Implement governance and standardization to ensure consistent data quality across tools.
- Manage RICEFW object data in Jira to support accurate tracking, reporting, and dependency management.
- Align Jira structures with SAP delivery methodology in collaboration with SAP teams.
- Identify and resolve data issues or process breakdowns affecting SAP program tracking.
- Build advanced Rich Filters and interactive dashboards for portfolio, program, and team insights.
- Create roadmaps, release plans, and sprint overviews in Jira to communicate timelines and dependencies.
- Design reporting structures to support executive and operational visibility of SAP delivery.
- Audit Jira and Confluence data to identify inconsistencies and recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor users on best practices for Jira and Confluence in SAP program contexts.
- 5+ years administering Jira Software and Confluence in large-scale enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of SAP program or project management experience, preferably in ERP transformation projects.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Rich Filters, dashboards, and custom reporting in Jira.
- Strong knowledge of Jira Roadmaps, release planning, and Agile tracking.
- Hands-on experience managing RICEFW object tracking in Jira or similar tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct bad data and improper Jira configurations.
- Expertise in Jira workflow design, automation rules, and custom field management.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical configurations into clear business explanations.
- Jira/Confluence certification (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator).
- Experience with ScriptRunner, Advanced Roadmaps, or other Jira apps in SAP environments.
- Prior experience with SAFe, Agile, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and ERP cutover planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional and technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and process improvement.
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
