Job Details

Please note that this is a 12 to 18-month contract position.

Shift – Start time is 8am or 9am

Notes – Assembly work and machine operation.

Required Qualifications:

    • Experience in manufacturing, customer service and/or high throughput environments.
    • Basic math, verbal & written communication skills, and aptitude to follow complex instructions.

Desired Qualifications:

    • 3+ years' experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment, academic lab or equivalent educational background.
    • Hands-on experience in a chemistry and or biochemical manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, and Word.
    • Experience with SAP or related ERP system.
    • Experience in inventory management is a plus.
    • Capability to adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong attention to detail, skills to multi-task and organize thoughts as needed.
    • Capability to adapt to changing priorities
    • Willingness to work overtime as required and competence in planning and maintaining area throughput.     

Primary Function

    • Responsible for performing a variety of duties within a manufacturing environment including production and manufacturing process operations.                                                                                 

Key responsibilities will include:

    • Sets up and operates fabrication processes and equipment to produce consumable products.
    • Follows detailed work instructions associated with each machine and or business process.
    • Performs a variety of process support tasks including maintenance of records and/or databases.
    • Coordinates and facilitates processes by ensuring the proper flow of information and/or materials.
    • Supports preventative maintenance program and inventory control activities with data entry, report generation and reconciliation.
    • Provides back-up support for administrative and materials/procurement personnel in other manufacturing departments.
    • Required to work and communicate cross functionally with company personnel at all organizational levels.
    • Manages and completes multiple tasks and projects which require planning and judgment.
    • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
    • Participates, cooperates, and contributes as part of a team.
    • Identifies and implements improvements within assign area.
    • Develops solutions on how to resolve issues that are identified during daily work.
    • Provides feedback to supervisor, lead technician or technical support group on safety, quality, interpersonal and process related issues.
    • Ability to routinely lift up to 25lbs and stand for up to 8 hours.
