Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LabVIEW Test Engineer with hands-on experience in NI TestStand to design, develop, and support automated test systems for electronic and electromechanical products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in test engineering, software development, and data acquisition systems.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems using LabVIEW and NI TestStand.

Create test plans, procedures, and documentation for production and validation environments.

Develop test sequences and custom step types in TestStand for various test scenarios.

Interface with hardware such as data acquisition systems, signal generators, power supplies, and electronic measurement instruments.

Integrate test systems with manufacturing and engineering databases for data logging and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to ensure testability and manufacturability of products.

Troubleshoot test failures and support root cause analysis.

Maintain version control and documentation of test software using standard tools and best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in developing test automation solutions using LabVIEW and NI TestStand.

Proficiency in National Instruments tools and platforms including DAQ, PXI, GPIB, and serial communication protocols.

Experience with hardware integration and signal conditioning.

Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Knowledge of debugging tools, troubleshooting techniques, and test data analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified TestStand Developer (CTD).

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace, Medical Devices, Automotive).

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for auxiliary tasks.

Experience with test systems in high-volume manufacturing environments.
