Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to support, scale, and automate cloud infrastructure for enterprise production platforms. This role focuses on AWS infrastructure ownership, CI/CD automation, container platforms, and system reliability in a 24x7 production environment.
You will work closely with development and IT teams to ensure deployments are stable, secure, and a non-event, while maintaining high availability and SLA-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and scale AWS cloud infrastructure
Manage Windows and Linux EC2 environments
Maintain Auto Scaling Groups and SQL Server on RDS
Implement EC2 Image Builder and hybrid patching using AWS SSM
Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Deploy and manage container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
Monitor system health using CloudWatch, Nagios, SolarWinds, PagerDuty, and similar tools
Integrate IAM and security workflows (Okta)
Support production systems and participate in on-call rotation
Required Skills
7+ years of System Administration / DevOps experience
AWS: EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, ECS, Fargate, EKS, Lambda, SSM
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, DC/OS, Tectonic, OpenShift
CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Scripting & automation: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Shell, Go
Monitoring & alerting tools
Windows, Linux, Unix operating systems
Web/application platforms: IIS, Apache, Tomcat, NGINX, Elasticsearch, HAProxy
