Lead Java Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and system design.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, QA, and operations, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure progress and resolve blockers.
• Actively participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications and services.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex software issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and clean code principles.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and system configurations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java SE/EE, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and related frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading or facilitating team meetings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
