Job Description:

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid Position]

DUTIES: Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor junior software engineers. Work with other Lead Engineers, Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems based on priority. Write great quality code with a relentless passion for automated testing and validation. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, automation, configuration management and compliance. Work on large scale technology migration projects. Evaluate new tech stack to come up with software recommendations. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment and production support. Implement, maintain and update CICD pipelines. Work on application delivery; working as subject matter expertise in building Java-based high-volume/high-transaction applications. Build web applications using Java, Spring and REST. Design of systems using Microservices architecture. Work as leadership capacity coaching and mentoring junior engineers. Work experience in performance optimizing tools like Java VisualVM, AppDynamics and Eclipse Memory Analyzer Tool (MAT). Utilize cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible. Utilize caching tools like Redis and EHCache. Work with build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar; working with Unit and Functional testing using Junit, Mockito/JMock, SoapUI and Postman. Work within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban development team.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation working on application delivery; working as subject matter expertise in building Java-based high-volume/high-transaction applications; building web applications using Java, Spring and REST; Designing of systems using Microservices architecture; working as leadership capacity coaching and mentoring junior engineers; working experience in performance optimizing tools like Java VisualVM, AppDynamics and Eclipse Memory Analyzer Tool (MAT); utilizing cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible; utilizing caching tools like Redis and EHCache; working with build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar; working with Unit and Functional testing using Junit, Mockito/JMock, SoapUI and Postman; working within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban development team.
