Role Description
This is a Part - Time on-site role for a Lead Teacher located in Colleyville, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, hands-on classes for students ages 4 to 15
- Teach coding, robotics, and STEAM concepts using a well developed curriculum (Training Provided)
- Manage and mentor a team of teachers and teaching assistants
- Track student progress and attendance; provide feedback to students and families
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with management regarding student progress and program needs
- Attend staff meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
- Representing the academy with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Background in education, technology, or related fields
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills
- Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Must pass a clear background check
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Prior Experience in any Robotics and Coding classes preferred
