Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for oracle bi solutions.
  • Design and develop oracle bi solutions, including data modeling, etl processes, and creating reports and dashboards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams in the implementation and maintenance of oracle bi solutions.
  • Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of oracle bi applications.
  • Stay updated on oracle bi best practices, new features, and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
  • Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of oracle bi solutions delivered to clients.
  • Skill Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Oracle BI technologies such as oracle business intelligence enterprise edition (OBIEE), Oracle BI publisher, and oracle analytics cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience in designing and developing reports, dashboards, and analytics using oracle bi tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize oracle bi applications for performance enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and project teams effectively.
  • Experience in OBIEE RPD modeling, designing start/snowflake schemas.
  • OBIEE Expert with a thorough understanding of OBIEE architecture and the role of different OBIEE components like Analytic Server, Web Server, RPD, Web Catalog, Security, Dashboards, Reports, iBots and Scheduler.
  • Experience in writing and profiling complex PL/SQL queries and fetch appropriate data from huge data sets efficiently (Oracle).
  • Experience in OBIEE Features (i.e. Cache, Usage tracking, Dimensional hierarchy, Variables/Initialization Blocks configuration etc.), converting Snow-Flake Schema to Star Schema, Dim Hierarchies, Dim Extensions, and Physical & Logical Data Modeling.
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal skills, an ability to quickly grasp new concepts- both technical and business related.
  • Flexible and experienced to work independently or in a team environment.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Specialization Domains: Supply Chain, Warehouse Management Distribution.
  • Technologies: Oracle BI - OBIEE, Oracle Database tools like TOAD, SQL Plus and Oracle tools.
  • Certifications: Oracle Business Intelligence certification is preferred but not mandatory.
