UX Designer 100% Remote
Key Capabilities
Effectively present and defend design rationale based on the brand, business needs, user goals, and usability, rather than personal opinion
Strong understanding of interface design principles; navigation and architecture; and typography, color, and layout principles
Experience designing for AI-powered applications, including conversational interfaces, data visualization, and algorithmic decision-making systems
Proficiency in design system creation and maintenance, including component libraries, design tokens, and documentation standards
Knowledge of DesignOps methodologies, team scaling practices, and design process optimization
Familiarity with standards-compliant web design and the capabilities and constraints provided by CSS, JavaScript libraries, mobile app frameworks, etc.
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
Experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), vibe coding tools in Figma, MagicPath, Lovable, etc and ability to evaluate and implement new tools
Collaborate with technical team members and mentor more junior colleagues
Speak and write well, play well with others, and engage with senior-level clients
Experience in consulting and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Willingness to travel to client locations and collaborate with distributed delivery teams
Strategic thinking ability to align design initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading design for enterprise software, B2B applications, or complex data-driven interfaces
Background in service design or experience design for multi-touchpoint customer journeys
Knowledge of research methodologies including quantitative UX research and analytics interpretation
Experience with agile development methodologies and design integration in DevOps workflows
Understanding of product management principles and go-to-market strategies
Certification or formal training in design leadership, design thinking, or related methodologies
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a design discipline, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or relevant experience. Continuous learning mindset with staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design practices.
