Role: Lead Windows Administrator

Location: Plano, TX (Day one onsite)

Mode of Interview: Face to Face

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows operating systems.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for Windows servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline IT operations and improve service delivery.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs and technical guidelines.
• Assist in planning and executing system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on Windows Administration best practices.
• Participate in incident management and problem resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Administration (setup, configuration, maintenance).
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows-related issues and providing effective solutions.
• Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 5 15 years of experience in IT Operations with focus on Windows Administration.
• Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
