Position Details:
Title: LeapWork Test Scripting Resource
Duration: 6 months (With possible Extension)
Location: Annapolis, MD 21401.
Work Model: Hybrid with 3 days onsite
Role Responsibilities:
As a Leap Work Test Scripting Resource, you will support the Quality Assurance team in testing diverse applications within the department. The resource will be responsible for planning, designing, scripting, and deploying automated scripts for JIS applications in testing environments, while ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and QA best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide planning, design, scripting, and deployment of test scripts for JIS applications.
- Assist the AOC in all technical aspects of Leap Work scripting projects and assure completion of assigned tasks.
- Perform configuration and development activities specific to Leap Work solutions.
- Train QA staff on efficient Leap Work functions and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Leap Work scripting and ITIL best practices.
- Build Leap Work frameworks based on prioritized test cases and mentor QA staff.
- Develop test scenarios, manual and automated test scripts, and detailed documentation of automation logic.
- Create automated test flows in Leap Work for identified processes.
- Document troubleshooting steps, test execution results, and defect logs.
- Prepare user training materials for maintaining and scaling automation efforts.
- Support additional Leap Work modules, including new, existing, or rebranded ones as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Management Systems or a related field (as determined by the AOC).
- Valid Leap Work Test Automation Certification (obtained within the last 3 years).
Preferred Skills, Experience & Capabilities:
- Experience
- 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including requirements review, scenario design, and script development.
- 8+ years of QA experience across diverse IT environments (cloud computing and on-premise).
- At least 3 recent (within 36 months) engagements with Leap Work test scripting.
- Experience with QA tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Experience with automation tools such as Leap Work, Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester.
- Abilities
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret test cases for high-level and functional processes.
- Comfortable working in a virtual, collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of
- QA methodologies and practices.
- Operating systems, software development fundamentals, SQL (basic).
- Web and desktop applications.
- Data-driven automation, reusability, sub-flows, locator controls.
- Schedules, run lists, reports, dashboards.
- Performance troubleshooting, system test lifecycle, test case documentation.
- Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Process and gap analysis techniques.
