Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in New Bedford, MA. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation, and a valid license to support end users at a close client location.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Provides PC Hardware and software troubleshooting images, hardware repair, IMAC Tasks
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Resolves network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches
  • Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve
  • Works in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates
  • Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 to 6+ years of experience supporting PC Hardware and Software
  • Ability to confidently and safely lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to navigate between buildings and the production floor to support users
  • Hardware Repair experience
  • Windows 11 experience
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortability providing hands and feet support for Server and Network is a plus
  • Experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus
  • ServiceNow experience is a plus
  • COMPTIA A+ is required but candidate can obtain within 90 days of hire


Wage Range :
The hourly rate for this position is between $21.00 - $30.80 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
