Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced engineering professional to support government programs through the full product lifecycle. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in problem resolution, and a strong understanding of compliance and safety standards within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • LApply broad knowledge of design and engineering principles to assess and resolve product and process issues from concept through post-production.
  • Lead investigations into complex technical, operational, and quality issues. Conduct root cause analyses and develop both interim and permanent engineering solutions.
  • Ensure supplier and build partner adherence to government and industry standards. Develop and enforce non-destructive testing procedures and structural repair protocols.
  • Analyze reported issues for potential safety implications and manage resolution strategies in accordance with federal safety guidelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during design phases. Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in formal design reviews.
  • Lead on-site repair and accident investigation teams. Design jacking and shoring schemes and perform static strength analyses.
  • Draft technical correspondence to support safe operation and maintenance of government equipment.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal teams and government clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution. ABET accreditation preferred.
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master's + 7 years).
  • MRB certification required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
