Job Details

Position: Linux Admin.

Location: Portland, OR (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support AHL applications and infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot IIS-hosted and .NET-based applications.
  • Configure and maintain secure file transfer routines within the AHL SFTP platform.
  • Submit and track infrastructure requests including network, DNS, firewall, and load balancer changes.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests via ServiceNow (SNOW) queue or per project direction.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist in patching, upgrades, and system migrations as part of lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Mainframe and/or AS400 systems platform experience is a plus.
