Summary


A global technology team is seeking a seasoned Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Specialist to take ownership of the architecture, design, deployment, and ongoing management of its enterprise M365 ecosystem. This role is highly strategic, requiring a balance of technical depth, solution architecture expertise, and execution leadership. The position is central to driving secure, scalable, and user-friendly collaboration platforms across the enterprise, with a heavy emphasis on SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and related services.

Architecture & Strategy




  • Define and implement a global roadmap for Microsoft 365, prioritizing scalability, security, and performance.




  • Lead solution design aligned with enterprise-wide standards and best practices.




Advanced SharePoint Administration




  • Configure and manage complex SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, channels, content databases, and advanced permissions.




  • Oversee tenant-level administration, service applications, and hybrid configurations.




  • Implement and manage advanced features: Content Types, Term Store, retention policies, Information Management, and eDiscovery.




  • Monitor system performance, quotas, and global service health, while enforcing governance models.




  • Provide expertise in Azure portal management, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, MFA, and IAM.




  • Serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting complex SharePoint issues, including performance bottlenecks and security.




Collaboration & Identity Management




  • Integrate SharePoint with enterprise collaboration tools including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, Power Platform, Viva, and Stream.




  • Implement identity and access controls across Azure AD, Key Vaults, and Conditional Access to ensure compliance and security.




  • Establish best practices for file sharing, secure collaboration, and external access.




Execution & Delivery




  • Lead migrations, upgrades, and system integrations with enterprise and third-party solutions.




  • Drive global M365 project delivery, ensuring deadlines and adoption targets are met.




  • Automate operational and administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.




  • Develop solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.




Support & Adoption




  • Act as the escalation point for advanced administration and troubleshooting of SharePoint and M365 services.




  • Deliver training, documentation, and mentoring to improve adoption and end-user experience.




  • Continuously assess and refine governance and resiliency of the M365 ecosystem.






Qualifications & Skills




  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.




  • 10+ years of IT experience with expertise in Microsoft 365 solution architecture and SharePoint administration.




  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, large-scale deployments, and administration.




  • Hands-on expertise with user profiles, permissions, metadata management, compliance, governance, and security policies.




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, SPFx, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.




  • Deep understanding of enterprise identity management and compliance (Azure AD, AIP, Conditional Access, Key Vaults).




  • Experience with content migration tools such as Sharegate or equivalent.




  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive projects, influence stakeholders, and mentor technical staff.
