Your Responsibilities

As a Manager Material Flow Engineering for John Deere Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA, you will:
Lead the Davenport works Material flow engineering team, create a positive culture and employee experience while fostering growth and talent development for direct reports and the Davenport Materials team.
Develop, lead and own the Material Flow Technology roadmap and the implementation of it for Davenport Works
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the factory and within the global supply management organization to deliver on Construction & Forestry business goals and execute material flow management strategies for the factory.
Manage the performance, budget and relationship the of the 3PLs (Warehouse, shuttle, CMC)

What Skills You Need
Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience
5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations, Supply Management, or Material Flow.
3+ years with Material Flow processes: Warehousing, SAP, Inventory, Containerization, etc.
Experience managing large salaried team
2+ years' experience managing an Operational Budget

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply management / logistics, business, engineering, technology, or similar dicipline or equivalent related work experience
