Summary
The Senior Manager will lead the Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) Data and Analytics Capability across public sector clients. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality data and analytics solutions, managing a team of analysts and developers, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to support Medicaid business objectives and compliance requirements.
Your role in our mission
- Lead and manage the MMIS Data & Analytics team, including Data Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and other professionals.
- Oversee Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) projects for MMIS Data & Analytics Solutions across public sector clients.
- Demonstrate breadth of Medicaid domain knowledge, including MITA areas, MMIS Reporting, Federal Reporting, and T-MSIS.
- Collaborate with other Sr Managers and deputies to drive integrated reporting and data initiatives.
- Guide a team of data analysts and developers to deliver client-desired outcomes by understanding the business and technical landscape.
- Partner with technical leads and business analysts to define requirements, prioritize projects, and resolve issues.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Represent the MMIS Reporting function in leadership meetings and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Manage scope, change requests, pricing, and estimation activities for reporting engagements.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or data management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- 8+ years of Management Consulting experience in Medicaid State & Local Government OR Commercial Payer Experience
- Proven experience managing teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise reporting tools, data warehousing, and business intelligence platforms.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and offshore/onsite resource pools is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, CMS MITA, NASPO, Rx, EDW, and related reporting domains.
- Advanced skills in SQL, data visualization, and reporting automation.
