GHR Healthcare is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to assist a premier Hospital System in New York, NY

This is a full-time contract with the option to extend.

Pay $77-$79/hour!

Schedule:

• Tue-Wed-Thu 3-11:30 + Sat/Sun 7-3:30p
• 40 hours per week (every weekend) OFF Mondays and Fridays
• 13-week contract with option to extend

Responsibilities:

• Performs and assists with MRI examinations and procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to produce exams which are used in medical diagnosis to locate injuries, foreign bodies, pathological conditions, or lesions within the body.
• Follows established policies, procedures, exam protocols and regulations to promote patient safety and ensure a safe working environment in both modalities.
• Works in conjunction with the Sedation and Anesthesia departments to facilitate and ensure timely placement of add-on/start/urgent examinations.
• Assures customer satisfaction (interdepartmental, community and patient/family) with services.
• Evaluates MRI images for technical quality.
• Approx 10 patients per day

Local Pay: $77-$79 per hour

Travel Pay: $3,403 GROSS

Requirements

• Valid ARRT, MR License required
• 2+ Years of MRI Experience
