Job Details

Title: Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Oregon (onsite)

  • Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes/K3s platforms across edge, embedded, and on-prem environments.

  • Build and maintain custom Kubernetes controllers, CRDs, and operators to extend platform capabilities.

  • Deploy and manage multi-node hybrid clusters across x86, ARM, and accelerator-based hardware.

  • Automate cluster provisioning, node onboarding, upgrades, and lifecycle operations using GitOps.

  • Integrate Kubernetes with Linux-based infrastructure provisioned via PXE, OTA, and bare-metal workflows.

  • Enforce security best practices including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and container security.

  • Monitor and optimize platform health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes events.

  • Troubleshoot container runtimes, CNI networking, DNS, and scheduling issues in constrained or air-gapped systems.

  • Use Helm, ArgoCD/Flux, Terraform, and Ansible for declarative infrastructure and application deployments.

  • Require 5+ years of Kubernetes platform experience, strong Go/Bash skills, and deep Linux networking knowledge
