Job Role and Responsibility: AMD is hiring an MTS IT Engineer to be Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Responsible for providing technical support to Engineering and Corporate organizations at AMD. Drive identity (IAM), access, and configuration management for cloud native tools. Support AMD's global cloud infrastructure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Design, develop, deploy, monitor, maintain, and evolve cloud-native resources, tools, services, reusable modules (infrastructure-as-code-practices) and frameworks to secure and automate provisioning of cloud infrastructure. Proactively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency of teams and usage of cloud services. Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software. Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Create secure hybrid deployments of virtual machines, and PaaS solutions in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployment. Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company proprietary products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, I.T., or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in job offered or closely related engineering or systems analyst role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, I.T., or related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related engineering or systems analyst role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

• Architect and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure microservices applications;
• Building full CI/CD pipelines to support consistent code deployment;
• Migrating on-premises applications;
• Building and managing complex cloud environments in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform;
• Infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, or Cloud Formation);
• Designing dashboards for monitoring infrastructure;
• Python, Groovy, Golang, or Shell; and
• Data Structure and algorithms.
