Are you a seasoned machinist and natural leader ready to take charge of a high-performing machine shop? We're looking for a Machine Shop Foreman with 5-10 years of machining and supervisory experience who thrives on driving quality, efficiency, and teamwork. What You'll Do:


  • As our Machine Shop Foreman, you'll be the go-to leader ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while keeping safety, quality, and deadlines top of mind. You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of skilled machine operators.

  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule jobs to meet tight deadlines and maximize productivity.

  • Ensure parts meet exact engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Keep communication seamless across shifts with clear notes, logs, and updates.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide hands-on technical support.

  • Train, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve their best.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized shop that meets OSHA standards.

  • Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve challenges and improve processes.

  • Oversee inventory of raw materials, tools, and supplies to keep operations running smoothly.


What We're Looking For:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training a plus).

  • 5-10 years of machining experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role.

  • Deep knowledge of manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.).

  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.

  • Proven track record in quality assurance, process improvement, and shop safety.

  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.

  • Proficiency with shop management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
