Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within the facility to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery. This role focuses on developing maintenance strategies that align with production goals while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for food processing equipment.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring effective training and performance management.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production management to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting food production.
- Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Analyze maintenance data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food processing equipment and maintenance best practices.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food production settings.
Benefits
Annual base salary: $75,000 - $85,000/year
