Introducing Nestl Purina's new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory - just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. As Maintenance Specialist II (ASRS), you will oversee the operation and traceability of finished goods into and out of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System. You will maintain the ASRS reliability and efficiency through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects. In this role, you will maintain systems that control the ASRS and conveyance to ensure proper throughput for warehouse operations at a high efficiency and low cost to deliver customer service.

The first severalmonths of this position will require travel for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.

  • Configure, validate, commission and troubleshoot the ASRS and serve as the expert in controls interface for the system
  • Monitor daily operation of the ASRS including preventative maintenance, messaging and debugging within the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SynQ (ASRS logic system)
  • Respond to and correct any problems within the ASRS systems (i.e., pallet jams, inventory variance, etc.)
  • Apply understanding of automated equipment, components, tools and programs to monitor and maintain system performance
  • Employ knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) to troubleshoot material handling systems without modifying programming
  • Leverage the computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other digital tools to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime of ASRS
  • Work independently and collaboratively to maintain equipment and solve technical problems

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in material handling systems maintenance in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution center, industrial, military or related environment

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations

The approximate annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
