What You Will Be Doing
Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and supervise maintenance work to meet production needs.
- Manage urgent repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
- Develop and motivate maintenance staff for reliable performance.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planner for job scheduling and resource planning.
- Ensure safety protocols and plant rules are followed during maintenance.
- Participate in plant projects and provide mechanical input.
- Maintain records and contribute to operational efficiency evaluations.
- Support grievance resolution per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Ensure tools and consumables are available and in good condition.
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education.
- Cement experience preferred
- Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage.
Work Environment
- Monday ? Friday 7:00am ? 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs
- Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support.
