Maintenance Technician II
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on various electromechanical systems and equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and reliability by troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining machinery and electrical systems within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electromechanical systems, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Install new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to improve processes and equipment reliability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems.
- Experience with electrical maintenance, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, drives, and motors.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
