We're looking for an accomplished Manager of Software Development to lead a high-performing team in our Commissions domain-the mission-critical platform that powers compensation for all selling channels across the company. In this role, you'll provide strategic leadership, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring successful execution of initiatives across backend database applications as well as Java, Varicent, and SAP vendor platforms.
*** This position will sit in Bellevue, WA. This is not a remote role - this is a hybrid environment requiring 3 days a week in office.

Base Pay Range: $136,600 - $246,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high performing teams of full-time engineers and vendor consultants.
- Direct the delivery of multiple software development initiatives within the Commissions platform.
- Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and context to backend teams to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Manage priorities and project delivery using Agile Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Foster collaboration across internal teams and vendor partners to achieve delivery timelines and quality targets.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Qualifications/Education:
- 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor in software development (backend emphasis preferred).
- 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role overseeing engineering teams.
- Proven background in telecom or commissions systems.
- Expertise in enterprise platforms and backend systems.
- Demonstrated success managing delivery across both in-house and vendor teams.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) in fast-paced settings.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, RDS).
- Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot application ecosystems.
- Background in integrating data from APIs and enterprise services
