Description

Job Title: Manager of Development - Symitar

If you are a Credit Union Specific Manager of Application Development in Los Angeles (or looking to move to Los Angeles) and are interested in new full-time roles with dynamic company cultures and leadership opportunities for a key function of the business, apply today1

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain cleanup of core system data including JOBS, PowerOn, Letter Files, Warning Codes, Notes, and Tracking Records.
  • Oversee Symitar core banking system and associated applications, ensuring proper daily operations and automation.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and documentation for core business processes.
  • Identify errors and provide solutions for data systems, including testing, developing, implementing, and scheduling automation maintenance.
  • Serve as a department ambassador, liaising between IT and other departments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address inefficiencies.
  • Provide education services to other business units on data systems and document and support communication surrounding projects.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience directly working with Symitar.
  • College degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in an IT role within a financial institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering a Symitar core system and OpConXPS automation system or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
