Job Description

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, and defect management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to create detailed test scenarios

  • Develop, document, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications

  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and integration testing

  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira / Azure DevOps / Bugzilla

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues

  • Validate fixes and perform re-testing for resolved defects

  • Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Required Skills

  • 3 7 years of hands-on experience as a Manual Tester / QA Analyst

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

  • Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting

  • Working experience with Jira, TestRail, HP ALM, or similar tools

  • Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, and client-server architecture

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL queries for data validation

  • Basic understanding of API testing using Postman

  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) is a plus

  • Experience in healthcare, finance, or e-commerce domains (optional)
