Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Manhattan Active WMOS professional to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management solutions. The role requires deep functional and technical expertise, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to lead large-scale enterprise implementations across complex supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities Functional & Solution Leadership-
Lead end-to-end Manhattan Active WMOS implementations (Discover, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Hypercare)

Act as solution lead / architect for complex warehouse operations including:
-
Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing
-
Wave-less / Wave-based execution
-
Labor Management, Slotting, Yard Management (YMS)
-
Value-added services (VAS), Cross-docking, Flow-through
-
-
Design scalable and configurable solutions leveraging Manhattan Active cloud-native architecture
-
Translate business requirements into WMOS configurations and solution designs
-
Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and process optimization sessions with stakeholders
-
Strong knowledge of Manhattan Active Microservices architecture
-
Experience with:
-
Configurations vs Extensions
-
APIs, Webhooks, Event-driven integrations
-
Active UI, RF flows, and task management
-
-
Collaborate with integration teams on:
-
ERP (SAP / Oracle)
-
OMS, TMS, MHE systems (Conveyors, Sorters, AS/RS)
-
-
Understand Active upgrades, continuous releases, and regression impacts
-
Lead and mentor onsite/offshore WMOS teams
-
Own solution decisions, estimates, and delivery timelines
-
Serve as primary point of contact for clients on WMOS-related topics
-
Support pre-sales activities, including:
-
Solution demos
-
RFP/RFI responses
-
Effort estimation and architecture design
-
-
Drive best practices and standards across projects
-
Oversee:
-
SIT, UAT, Performance Testing
-
Cutover planning and Go-Live support
-
-
Handle production support, issue triage, and root cause analysis
-
Ensure compliance with Manhattan Active upgrade and release cycles
-
10 15+ years of WMS experience
-
5+ years of hands-on Manhattan Active WMOS
-
At least 2 3 full lifecycle Manhattan Active implementations
-
Strong knowledge of:
-
Warehouse operations
-
Supply chain execution processes
-
-
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
-
Manhattan certifications (Active WMOS / Supply Chain)
-
Experience with multi-node, multi-country warehouses
-
Exposure to Retail, E-commerce, 3PL, or Omni-channel
-
Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD concepts in cloud WMS
-
Prior experience as Solution Architect or Program Lead
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent

Strong leadership and mentoring ability
