Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • To analyze |define and design technical solution for ERP product s enhancement and work towards continuous improvement during product implementation and production support stages.
  • To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs.
  • To interact with the client and other functional teams for gaining understanding of the requirements.
  • To participate in team meetings.
  • To train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing amongst different teams in the project.
Requirements:
  • Hands on configuration of Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.
  • Experience supporting or implementing Manhattan WMOS WMS systems preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL for application development.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries Experience analyzing complex system issues, contributing to estimates and making recommendations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oracle relational databases is a plus.
  • Participate in all phases of implementation and production support of applications and components in multi-technology, business-critical systems.
  • Gather requirements and design the most accurate and efficient solution possible.
  • Analyzing and reengineering repetitive failed processes to drive out risk Work closely with development team to ensure that all have an accurate understanding of the solution to limit rework to the minimum.
  • Maintain understanding of interface specifications and configuration options.
  • Document requirements and solutions according to the business SDLC process.
  • Stay up to date on current and future warehouse execution technologies, capabilities, and trends.
Excellent Communication Skills:
  • Skills in creating presentations and scorecards Follow change control methodology in day-to-day activities.
  • Provides for shift and on call coverage as needed in support of operations under time constraints and pressure situations.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Specialization Domains: Supply Chain, Warehouse Management Distribution Technologies: Distributed architecture, Java/J2EE programming, Oracle Database tools like TOAD, SQL Plus and Oracle tools.
