Manual Tester - Junior

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough manual testing processes. Your primary focus will be on executing test cases, identifying defects, and providing feedback to the development team to facilitate product improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
2. Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and areas for improvement.
3. Document and track defects found during testing, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
4. Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and test planning sessions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
6. Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs correctly after changes have been made.
7. Provide feedback on usability and user experience aspects of the software.
8. Work closely with QA Leads or Managers to prioritize testing tasks and meet project deadlines.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing methodologies.
10. Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in manual testing of software applications.
3. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
4. Experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
10. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB certification is preferred but not mandatory.
