Manufacturing & Supply Chain Data Analyst

Role Overview

Provide expert interpretation and business context for manufacturing and supply chain data. This role ensures complex operational data is clearly understood and correctly represented within the enterprise data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, interpret, and explain data related to:
    • Inventory management
    • Vehicle allocation
    • Sales and operational reporting
  • Translate manufacturing and supply chain data into clear, business-relevant insights for stakeholders.
  • Support metadata development and validation for data ingestion into the enterprise data lake.
  • Clarify data definitions, dependencies, and relationships across manufacturing and logistics systems.

Technical Environment

  • Legacy and modern data platforms, including:
    • IMS and DB2
    • PostgreSQL and Oracle
  • Client Big Data Platform on AWS

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep subject matter expertise in automotive manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Strong familiarity with manufacturing-related data systems and reporting structures
  • Comfort working across legacy and modern database technologies

Additional Requirements

  • Automotive industry experience is mandatory (Automotive Domain experience preferred; other OEMs acceptable)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills (American English)
  • Remote role with availability during Central Time business hours
