Top Skills: 3+ years exp within the Electrical Engineering Industry, Antenna preferred but open to other Electronic Components, strong technical liaison skills and Change Management/ Process Improvement Skills

This position plays a critical role in supporting new product development and sustaining current products. This role serves as a technical liaison between the Line of Business and the manufacturing plant, applying engineering expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure product compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Evolution & Change Management

  • Leads or contributes to the execution of Change Notices within agreed timelines.
  • Analyzes the impact of changes on end-to-end manufacturing processes.
  • Proposes improvements to the Board of Change.
  • Manages requests related to Adaptation, Quality, Productivity, Obsolescence, and Withdrawal.
  • Collaborates with Design and Continuous Engineering teams on all product changes.

Technical Problem Solving & Knowledge Transfer

  • Trains plant personnel on product and customer application knowledge.
  • Performs product and process analysis (e.g., Technical Returns, FPY, MDR, Red Box).
  • Leads or supports root cause analysis using 8D methodology.
  • Interfaces with customers to resolve technical inquiries and enhance delivery experience.

Product Compliance & Robustness

  • Ensures consistency in product definition within the manufacturing database.
  • Contributes to risk assessments (e.g., PFMEA, PQCS, CQCP).
  • Supports part qualification and critical supply robustness.
  • Manages new product introductions and industrial transfers.
  • Works with certification engineers to maintain compliance with UL, CSA, and other standards.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrates leadership in issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Collaborates with Quality Engineers, manufacturing teams, and corporate engineering.
  • Supports monthly quality meetings with Offer Quality Leader and Plant Quality Manager.
  • Coordinates surveillance testing and reviews specifications annually with the Line of Business.
  • Manages the eDerogation, and eMCN portfolio, ensuring alignment with Quality Directive guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Contributes to product reviews with stakeholders from Customer Experience, Marketing, Continuous Engineering, and Manufacturing.
  • Ensures effective communication and execution between the plant and Line of Business.

This job might be for you if:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial engineering.
  • Experience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.) and Six Sigma knowledge certification highly desired.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management. Start Time: 8:00 AM
