Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay Range: $31.97/hour

Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift/graveyard 10pm-6:30am

What's the Job?

• Observe all safety policies and procedures, maintaining good housekeeping, GMP, and Food Safety practices
• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment such as conveyors, compressors, chillers, and robots
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
• Dismantle and reassemble machinery to replace or fit parts as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance based on scheduled plans to ensure optimal equipment performance

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair techniques
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
• Strong manual dexterity, coordination, and balance
