Daily Responsibilities

  • \nConduct Precision Inspections
    \n Perform detailed mechanical inspections of machined components and hydraulic assemblies, ensuring conformance to product specifications and engineering blueprints.
  • \n
  • \nVerify Incoming Materials
    \n Check and approve raw materials and purchased parts upon receipt, ensuring compliance with quality standards and rejecting those that do not meet requirements.
  • \n
  • \nMonitor In-Process Quality
    \n Verify that all steps in the manufacturing and assembly processes maintain quality standards through in-process inspections and adjustments as needed.
  • \n
  • \nTest Final Products
    \n Execute final testing and dimensional checks on completed products using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs), documenting results to confirm adherence to customer and ISO standards.
  • \n
  • \nDocument Inspection Results
    \n Accurately record inspection outcomes, measurement data, and findings in quality logs and databases, supporting traceability and compliance with internal procedures.
  • \n
  • \nIdentify and Report Non-Conformances
    \n Detect product defects, deviations, or process inconsistencies; report and document non-conformances, initiating corrective actions if necessary.
  • \n
  • \nCalibrate and Maintain Equipment
    \n Ensure that all inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • \n
  • \nInterpret Technical Documentation
    \n Read and interpret technical blueprints with GD&T, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine inspection criteria and procedures.
  • \n
  • \nSupport Quality Audits and Compliance
    \n Maintain readiness for ISO 9001:2015 compliance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • \nPromote Continuous Improvement
    \n Participate in investigations of quality issues, contribute to root cause analyses, and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and compliance with company and ISO standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • \n
  • Minimum 5 years focused experience working as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role in a machining environment.
  • \n

Knowledge & Skills

    \n
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
  • \n
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings with GD&T
  • \n
  • Familiarity with basic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, comparators)
  • \n
  • Knowledge of quality standards, testing methods, and inspection procedures
  • \n
  • Basic math and computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
