Responsibilities
Noblis MSD is seeking a Materials Engineer to provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence to support the NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I). Additionally we are supporting their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
The Materials Engineer will develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and systems. Key duties include analyzing maintenance data, creating detailed maintenance plans, and optimizing supportability processes. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and logistics teams is essential to coordinate maintenance activities and improve overall system performance. The role also involves monitoring maintenance trends, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions to enhance operational readiness. Effective communication and analytical skills are required to prepare reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's of Science in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related scientific /technical discipline.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
