Materials and Distribution Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Materials and Distribution Analyst in support of our industry leading technology development client in Milpitas, CA. Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions.

Overview:
The Materials and Distribution Analyst will be accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Examples include logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, distribution, storage of materials and cycle counting programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, inspection; order fulfilment; shipping; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; and scheduling work for designated areas of operations, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis.

Intermediate Responsibilities:
* Apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues
* Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope
* Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
* Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input
* Follows established guidelines and interprets policies
* Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function
* 3PL management, inventory management, and logistics management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
