Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite – SEA99 Odyssey)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III with strong technical, analytical, and design skills to support the development of flight and test wire harnesses. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, with experience in both prototype and production-level designs. This role requires expertise in 3D and 2D mechanical design, schematic creation, and related analysis.
 
Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute 3D and 2D mechanical designs for aerospace wire harnesses (flight and test systems).
  • Create and review detailed schematics and technical documentation.
  • Perform design analyses to ensure compliance with system and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to track design progress and deliverables.

 
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ECAD software for 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and schematic creation.
  • Hands-on experience designing wire harnesses for aerospace systems (test or flight).
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with engineering project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence (Agile environment).

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and Siemens Capital for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
