Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing parts, materials, or work pieces to meet required visual, dimensional, and test requirements of engineering drawings and organizational specifications
  • \n
  • Conduct visual inspections on finished and in-process products to detect non-conformities
  • \n
  • Use measure and test equipment to verify that physical properties and size of materials meet conformance specifications
  • \n
  • Utilize electronic system to identify and track non-conformance items.
  • \n
  • Perform final inspections of assembled mechanical seals to confirm compliance
  • \n
  • Completes and distributes appropriate paperwork.
  • \n
  • Adheres to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and HSE procedures
  • \n
  • Complies with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions
  • \n
  • Collaborate with various departments to support on-time delivery of high-quality products
  • \n
  • Support the maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments, cleanliness of the work area, and accuracy of the quality documentation
  • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • High school diploma or general education degree; five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training/experience - Verifiable recent experience in machine shop inspection
  • \n
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System procedures
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions
  • \n
  • Ability to use O.D and I.D. micrometers, calipers, height gages and thread gages
  • \n
  • Ability to recognize, set-up, and effectively use of general and advanced measuring and test equipment
  • \n
  • Ability to perform gage calibrations, computer operation and mathematical computation
  • \n
  • Have advanced knowledge in use of monitoring and measuring equipment associated with a machine shop environment
  • \n
  • Good decision-making skills
  • \n
  • SAP user experience is a plus
  • \n
