• Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday and Sunday

The Generalist Tech will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, supporting multiple areas of the lab. This position involves working with a wide range of diagnostic equipment and technologies, providing accurate results for medical staff to assess and treat patients. The Generalist Tech is responsible for ensuring high-quality laboratory services and maintaining proper procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate test results.

• Perform a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.
• Operate laboratory equipment and technologies to process samples and record results.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of all tests and results.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of specimens.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with team members and medical staff to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues with laboratory equipment.

• Licensure/Certification: ASCP certification is required.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and medical teams.
