Job Details

Role: Mendix Developer

Location: Houston, TX (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Description:

  • Proficiency in using at least 2-3 low code platforms (Power Platform or Mendix and OutSystems)
  • Building reusable components and architectural design frameworks for low-code platforms.
  • Proficiency in building Low Code offline, web and reactive applications.
    • Understanding of how applications are architected in OutSystems (modules, dependencies, data model, UI, business logic, integrations).
    • Familiarity with OutSystems-specific features (Service Studio, LifeTime, Forge components).
    • Strong knowledge of Mendix Studio Pro, microflows, nanoflows, page modeling, security, and app deployment.
    • Awareness of Mendix App Store components and best practices.
    • Skills in analyzing OutSystems entity structures and relationships, then designing equivalent Mendix domain models.
    • Awareness of Mendix App Store components and best practices.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs in Power Platform, Mendix and OutSystems platforms (consuming and exposing services).
  • Understanding authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with custom connectors, APIs, RESTful services, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, Power Fx, HTML/CSS, and basic C# or .NET (optional but desirable).
  • Basic UI/UX design experience and familiarity with tools like Figma, Axure etc.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub) and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in Power Platform.
