Job Title- Merchandise Coordinator
Location- San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Duration- 6+ months
Pay-$20-$25/- on w2
Description:
We are looking for a Merchandising Coordinator who can provide general support to inform future assortments and maintain data from which answers can be readily obtained. Our ideal candidate excels in clear communication, sample management, data entry, and organization. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to produce manufacturing ready products. This person is also someone who is capable of driving success even with a wide range of diverse responsibilities.
The notable responsibilities of the Merchandising Coordinator are:
Maintain data across a range of systems
Maintain seasonal & evergreen assorting tools: VLP s, Brief, Assortment Architecture, Line Plans, Price Framework, SKU Framework & roll-up at key calendar moments, ITA/ Commonality Tools
Act as a conduit of information to and from cross functional and external partners
Manage and communicate GTM deliverables; identify opportunity for improvement and escalate accordingly
Organize, manage, ship and receive samples
Prepare PowerPoints/visual presentations as needed
Pull and provide simple selling or data analysis
Provide competitive analysis of relevant brands including pricing and promotional strategies and market place trends
Assist team in general needs across all phases of product lifecycle for both licensed and in-house product
Potentially train and supervise temporary personnel
What the Merchandising Coordinator already has:
Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
Previous wholesale, retail or merchandising experience
Capability of being creative and a self-starter
Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially when it comes to working directly with senior level directors
Impeccable communication skills across all channels with an ability to get the message across over IM, email, phone, text, etc.
Strong team orientation
Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in the Co.
