Microsoft Systems Administrator

**Onsite at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.**

Our government client is looking for a Microsoft Systems Administrator to join their team.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $63.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Microsoft Systems Administrator:

• Manage Windows OS-based computer devices through Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, registry and files system security as needed
• Administer systems infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud
• Collaborate with other team members to perform server patching and maintenance
• Evaluate hardware and software purchases
• Manage 2000+ servers across multiple field site locations
• Manage and lead systems and infrastructure projects
• Follow existing incident, problem, release, change management processes
• Support existing server infrastructure in a 24x7 on-call escalation capacity as part of a team rotation
• Provide high level technical support for Tier-3 issue escalations/tickets
• Design and implement Citrix solutions
• Manage and monitor a Citrix platform

Requirements of the Microsoft Systems Administrator:

• At least 12 years of experience administrating and managing servers and systems, cloud infrastructure, file and print environments, specializing in Windows operating systems
• Must have experience leading technical team supporting system operations
• Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and SQL Server
• Must possess a Microsoft Certified Solutions
