Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our defense technology platforms.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional frontend components.
- Implement frontend features and functionalities using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality and best practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in frontend development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
- Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js.
- Experience with responsive design and frontend optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and/or defense-related projects is desirable but not required.
