Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and implementing best practices in automation and security. The successful candidate will support Plume Open Sync Cloud software and infrastructure updates, specifically enabling Cellular Backup (CBU), and collaborate across teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Support updates and deployments for Plume Open Sync Cloud software and infrastructure related to Cellular Backup (CBU).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across AWS services (EKS, EC2, ALB, Route53, S3, RDS, IAM) and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Apply cloud and security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, Security Groups, NACLs, and container security.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployments and enforce GitOps principles.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Enhance monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Fluent Bit.
  • Document operational processes and contribute to knowledge sharing and mentorship for junior engineers.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Fluent Bit.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:
  • Experience with GitOps workflows.
  • Exposure to Plume Open Sync or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to team knowledge sharing.
