Job Title: Managing Consulting Engineer SCVMM Migration Consultant


Location: Southern TX region (Waco and down) - 100% Remote (10-15% travel as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Salary Range: $110k $125k


About the Role:



  • We are seeking an experienced SCVMM Migration Consultant to lead enterprise-scale virtualization and hybrid cloud migration projects.

  • The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Microosoft SCVMM, Hyper-V, and multi-platform migrations (VMware, Nutanix AHV, Azure Stack HCI), along with proven consulting and client-facing experience.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and migrate Microosoft SCVMM environments with Hyper-V and System Center suite.

  • Lead migration projects across VMware, Nutanix, and Azure hybrid platforms.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing solution design and strategic recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver migration strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Troubleshoot complex SCVMM, Hyper-V, and hybrid cloud issues.

  • Automate processes and system management using PowerShell.

  • Document architecture, processes, and best practices.


Qualifications:



  • 7 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure consulting/professional services.

  • 5+ years of virtualization engineering experience with SCVMM and Hyper-V.

  • Strong migration experience across VMware, Nutanix AHV, and/or Azure Stack HCI.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

  • Solid knowledge of Azure services and hybrid cloud operations.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skill.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting experience.

  • SCVMM certification preferred.
