Position Summary
The MBTA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mobile Device Analyst to support the daily operations of its mobile device fleet. This role will be responsible for provisioning, tracking, and supporting mobile assets-including smartphones, tablets, and SIMs-to ensure seamless enterprise functionality across MBTA departments.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Device Management & Provisioning
- Manage full lifecycle of mobile devices: ordering, activation, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning.
- Support Android, iOS, MiFi, and machine-to-machine services.
Inventory & Asset Tracking
- Receive and log all mobile device orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with audits to reconcile physical and digital inventory.
User Support & Helpdesk Operations
- Provide technical support for mobile device issues including connectivity, app functionality, and setup.
- Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to manage support requests.
Vendor & Portal Management
- Use the Verizon Enterprise Portal for device ordering, account management, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, preferably Intune.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve service issues and escalations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale mobile device fleets in an enterprise setting.
- Proficiency with Verizon Enterprise Portal for device and account management.
- Strong understanding of wireless plans and data usage optimization.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Intune preferred).
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems like ServiceNow.
- Working knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
