Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in both functional and technical areas of Oracle Retail modules. The ideal candidate will be skilled in SQL/PLSQL, Unix, and Pro*C, with a solid understanding of Oracle Retail batch programs, interfaces, and support processes.
This role involves preparing functional/technical designs, analysing legacy and batch code, and supporting production environments in Oracle Retail product implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Functional and Technical designs in Oracle Retail Products
  • SQL/PLSQL, Pro*C, Unix code analysis in Oracle Retail products
  • Understanding of batch programs and interfaces in Oracle Retail Products
  • Work within Oracle Workspace to manage configurations and customizations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Provide production support, including root cause analysis, bug fixes, and performance tuning
Must-Have Skills:
  • Functional Knowledge in Oracle Retail modules ( RMS, SIM, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, RTM, etc. )
  • SQL/PLSQL
  • Unix
  • Oracle Workspace
  • Production Support Experience
Nice to have:
  • Performance tuning techniques for SQL
