Job Role: Network Administrator
Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Job Description:
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage Azure networking components, such as virtual networks, subnets, and security groups.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance with standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security.
- In depth knowledge in Palo Alto deployment/Migration from On-prem to cloud base(SAAS) solution.
- Hands on experience on Cisco routing protocols specifically BGP.
- Hands on experience on Cisco Switching devices(Nexus).
- In depth troubleshooting knowledge on Cisco/Palo Alto/SD-WAN solution.
- Have good understanding in Azure cloud base solution.
- Palo Alto SD-WAN knowledge would be added advantage.
- Should be standalone engineer; able to work on projects independently.
- Need an engineer in Pacific day time.(At least until 2PM PST for attending meetings and co-ordination with teams)
