JOB LOCATION: Remote but work will be in EMEA Time Zone ( this means working overnight shifts (roughly 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern Time, or 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM Pacific Time, depending on daylight savings).
WAGE RANGE*: $55-65/hr.

For this role, although the position is remote, the contractor will be expected to align their working hours with EMEA business hours (generally 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CET/CEST). For candidates based in the U.S., this means working overnight shifts (roughly 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern Time, or 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM Pacific Time, depending on daylight savings).

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has experience of working in a global network management team and IT Services environment, either product or project focused. Holds relevant tertiary qualifications and has a demonstrated level of experience, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, an aptitude for navigating ambiguity and strong attention to detail. Beyond the technical capacities the candidate must have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, as this role requires interaction with a variety of teams across Mars IS and within the business, acting as a single point of contact representing the team daily on a key strategic program.

- Ticket / Tasks Management
- Work through backlog of open tickets (incidents, requests, etc.)
- Manage and engage with day-to-day ticketing queues and action technical queries within agreed SLA
- Monitor and manage Major Incidents jointly with Mars teams as required
- Proactively manage IT teams / stakeholders / customers and update them on status
- Release Management & BAU Requests
- Provide strong coordination/project skills, facilitation and analytical skills with technical expertise and work alongside ENS peers.
- Capacity Management
- Review the data related to capacity management and provide strong facilitation and analytical skills to make informed decisions.
- Data, Metrics & Reporting
- Support generation of reports.
- Contribute to reports and metrics analysis jointly with Service Managers.
Must Have
- Technical knowledge on infrastructure/networks
- Facilitation and communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, SITs and Vendors as required
- Leadership qualities in Incident Management: tracking, reporting, communicating effectively
- Ability to act as a Lead Network Analyst who can take on challenges and not be afraid of technical discussions with different teams
Knowledge / Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Networks with relevant work experience
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Experience in ITIL and ITSM
- At least 5 years of networks / infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience of network related issues
- Prior experience in global companies
- Ability to interact effectively within all levels of the company
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
